Paris Polcyn

Born and raised in Phoenix, Az, lived up in Sedona for a few years, and now I am back in Phoenix to continue growing. I always felt at home when involed in the art and media classes in highschool. I started out in Digital Media Production as a freshman in college, shortly thereafter realizing that was not where my heart lied, I changed to business to follow in my parents footsteps. Business did not allow my creative mind to grow, so again I changed my path, and that direction lead me to graphic design. During the first day of classes, I knew this is where I belonged.

In the Summer of 2009, I completed a 200 hour internship at Campbell Fisher Design in Phoenix. There, I took on the task of designing logos, and paraphenalia for given organizations. I learned how to complete a proper press check, and how jobs are completed with real world deadlines. I had the opportunity to work with senior designers, and the chance to see myself in their shoes and their shoes felt pretty nice!

I am now a graphic designer, with a passion for interactive design. Working as an individual, in a group or as a team leader, I am able to complete the task with great results. I have experience with printing and branding, packaging, typography and am continuing to learn more and more everyday. This, along with my advancing knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, After Affects, and Premiere, allows for my creativity to come to life. I am budding in the social media world, and will continue to make a brand for myself.
